Its working but not working at the same time.

When I try upload files (allowed extensions such as .php and .html) I get continual errors

It tells me that the file is already there and that it is a smaller than the one I am uploading.

btw FTP works, but some time cant log in.

Never mind. I got it to work. I was just confused because when i was on zymic and i would change pages the username would change.

um,. i think i have a small problem with ftp (not sure about that - really new with internet)

i decided to use FileZilla and when i try to connect to server i get such a text:

Response: ¹# User *my name*@.zxq.net OK. Password required
Command: PASS ******
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Could not connect to server

im sure that i input correct password. What should i do in this situation?

p.s. sorry for grammar or spelling mistakes.

Looking at the response it would suggest you're using the wrong details:

Let's assume your domain is:

CODE

bobsmith.zymichost.com

In this example your ftp 'username' would be:

CODE

bobsmith@zymichost.com

Your password is the 'hosting' password. For this example, we'll imagine it as 'mypassword'

The 'host' would be:

CODE

bobsmith.zymichost.com

So if we were to put this as a connection string we'd have:

CODE

ftp://bobsmith@zymichost.com:mypassword@bobsmith.zymichost.com

What's not working? I just tested it and CONNECT, PUT and RM all work.

My ftp is not working. I am using CoreFTP lite and when i put all my info in, it says: Can't establish connection --> team4za.hosting.zymic.com:21 @ Fri Oct 12 23:20:10 2007 (11004-100)
The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for.

Im pretty sure all my info i put in is correct.

I tried uploading files with no filename but failed because although they get uploaded, they are deleted after I leave the folder.

Oh nothing major, nothing that a reboot of mysql didn't fix.

That might be because it's spelt zymic, not zumic

You registered when there was an issue with our main server, can you please re-register and you should be able to access ftp without a problem.

I mean the database user, in the MySQL section - grant the user all privileges.

The user already has all privilages though...

EDIT: Oh no... I didn't. I asummed that since all the boxes were ticked, the user could, but it was actually just a form to allow the the user to do that.

It had not crashed, the maximum limit of concurrent users had been reached.

I also found another bug:

Though I'm sure the username and password are correct. I tried using the upload through the web, but it just didn't allow me to do anything there.

I'm having some problems with FTP using FireFTP (Firefox plugin).

I get this:
