Hi, what canvas size would i need if im going to make (try to) a weblayout with a banner of 800 pixels?

Im just asking whats the best size canvas to make a web layout on if the width of the actual layout is 800px, like should i make it on 900 by 900 or what?

well if you want it 800 wide, you have the canvas 800 wide.
the rest of the layout can be as long as you want. height 600 is convention but scrolling down is no where near as annoying as scrolling across.
