New to the forum here, been going to the site for years, don't know why i have never signed up for the forums but figured this was a good place to ask for help. Right now i'm using one of the Zymic layouts on my website while i build the website but back to the point.

I have decided to try and mess with a login system and found a good tutorial on line using a JavaScript "slide down" look, and got it all setup and working, but i just need either a little help or at least pointed in the right direction. I'm trying to get started with adding member profile pages to my existing login system and maybe integrating my PHP/MySQL login system with a forum, i have not decided on a forum yet but thats not even the important part, if i could get some direction on the member profiles that would be awesome, i know a little bit about PHP but still a beginner.

Any direction this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Uncled1023 does an alright job at a tutorial on this found here.

It does have some security issues that need to be ironed out and the code isn't the best, but once you learn the basics (php.net is your best bet). He has also made separate parts for more integration with a member profile, etc.
