I'm obviously new here. Me and a friend are trying to build a harry potter site while using zymic. and neither of us are very good at coding. we were hoping if anyone with experience with html coding and lots of free time would be willing to help us build it.

There are plenty of us here that love to help people when it comes to web design and coding. Some of us even offer our services for free. Others charge, you have to understand that if you want someone to do the all the work for you are talking about something I may charge a client between 600-800 dollars for assuming your site is a simple concept.
The Zymic community really prides itself on helping others become successful in the web world but we don't really enjoy doing the work for you. Although we are basically willing to hold your hand and walk you through it so the next time you can do it yourself or offer your help to someone else in need.

Keitorin you can go to websites like weebly or webs.com and create a free website in no time.There is no coding knowledge required in using these sites....so enjoy.
You can download free design template and just edit the images there into Harry Potter or download e-books to learn the coding.
ill do it for 20 bucks and have it ready tomorrow 
If it is actually for you yet. I can advice you a site with a great amout of free layout and then just edit the images there into Harry Potter , www.websitetemplates.bz maybe there you will find something suitable. Or mabe you can try to surf in the net.
My suggestion is use wordpress and blogger to make ur own site it is almost free it just need aroun 10 bucks for hosting and domain registration and no coding is required ....

You can try to download many of the available book on html/php...and learn out from there
Use a good template with all feature and design a new site...

Try to learn HTML, DIV, Photoshop, dreamviewver and flash to design an attractive site. Check online many web design tutorial and videos available. This will definitely help you.
