You got not reply because theres a thing called "search", which will clearly tell you getting your own email hosting is not possible due to security reasons and unfortunately we won't ever be enabling this.
As for password protecting your files, you need to use htaccess. http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/password/ has an easy guide for beginners.
