I'm very very driven on my webdesign ideas I have a clear understanding of XHTML and CSS with a beginners understanding of Adobe Photoshop, but I'm not a student in this field I go to school for Mass Communications so its not like I can meet a professor at school. How often does this happen and where should I look to find someone to be sort of a mentor to me to guide me along and help me get my ideas online? OR is it like everyones on their own in this business?

And there are countless tutorials and guides online that many of us just search for as we need them. Such as...

Depending on the level of professionalism you're aiming for, a special class and/or mentor may be needed. Typically, for an average website, it's an "on you're own" sort of thing if you're doing it as a hobby or small business. It's easy to find help online too.

Hope this helped.
