First of all, thank you for this free support and free hosting, so far so good.

Now, my manifestation is due to the fact that when I try the install MODx cms i get some errors.
1. First cannot extract zip (due to the fact that is not supported i guess);
2. When i try to upload via ftp some files cannot be uploaded. Some examples are .htacess or .gitignore.

How can i manage this issue? If this files exist they probably are necessary, so if any one would help me solving this i would be very much appreciated.

Also forgot to say that the .htacess i can handle renaming it but the .gitignore simply cannot upload in any way....

You cannot upload that file because of the filetype "gitignore" not being on the allowed file types list. This file is not required for a functioning installation (it is used for git repositories) so you can safely ignore it.
