Cause i cant upload the the LICENSE files for the vb. and how would i upload the database?

login to your CP and go to phpmyadmin to upload the database.

for license files, it might have to be added to list of files supported... does it look like this?

FILE

or does it have a extension...

Judging by the magic number, that's a rar file, you need an 'SQL' format file which is plain text. Unrar the archive, then upload the sql file.

i told him that on MSN last night but he still got an error.... (mostly the dump info of the old host causing the problem)
