Full Version: Free Font Manager

Hey folks smile.gif

If you have loads of fonts on your hard drive or on CD-Rs, then this small application can help you manage all your [installed and uninstalled] fonts better.

Note: This is the font manager I use and the feature I love most is the ability to temporarily 'load' a font for short-term use. This means your font folder doesn't get bloated with fonts you intend to use only once or twice. See if you like it.

Cheers!

Oops! Too bad I only use Windows, akzuma happy.gif .

However, I think there may be a workaround that'll let you [and maybe other Mac users] use this tool.

For instance, try some of these tools...

@Hsiaminghung: Yes, I've found TFT pretty useful for a while now smile.gif

Useful tool but I have strayed away from having tons of useless fonts. I find that a small selection of good fonts keeps load times to a minimum.
machine
@Cmain: That is true -- a bloated font folder is not a good thing to have on your computer [say, about a 100 well-chosen fonts at the most]. Most of my fonts are stored externally and so I use TFT to load them for temporary use.

@ Cmain [again]: By the way Cmain, who's that hot-looking woman in your sig? smile.gif

You can use BootCamp to run Windows on a Mac, I've never used it on my Mac because It was a crap 10.1.5 OS plus I use my Windows for everything now wink.gif

Get BootCamp

I think its for Leopard only.. Just read the web page, should tell all you need rolleyes.gif
