Hi. I have a shared internet connection SpeedTouch. Its quite fast: about 12 mb down and 0,5-1 mb up. BUT my cuzin is downloading torrents last week 24/7 and i cant do anything on the internet... Everything is slow (hes on cable im on wifi). Modem is about 5-8 meters from my laptop. My zxq site loads very slow, FTP is crawling and games are lagging like hell online. I have talked to her, but shes not listening, still downloading torrents day and night.
How can i limit the ports speed, shes using (Azureus)? Or theres a better way to stop this terror? I have all administrator rights and full access to the CP. I have sometimes unplugged the cable when i get mad. hunter.gif (If i unplug her cable i get exellent speed and angry girls call. huh.gif
PLZ guys, PLZ help! blink.gif

Go into the router admin. There may be an option to cap the bandwidth of each connection.

No theres no option like that. He sconnected to etherport2. What i can do is: choose her connection type - generic device, desktop comupter, laptop computer, set top box, PDA, gaming console, phone, mobile phone, printer, mass storage device. Whats the point of those? Its currently on generic device.
