How to use my self domain here ? you have advertised on it , but i cant find the place to identify my own domain name to this hosting!! is it a service that is not available for the free accounts any more ? please guide me on this i have got a little confused with the menues !!!

i meanet a service like DNS or here u named it TLD domain ...

is it possible to use my own domain with the free web hosting service at all ? i have read the guides in the site about this issue but the thing that i see is that the menu version of those pics is older than the current version and so u guess i`m lost in the menues with no answer !!!

go to account settings and then enter in your TLD, then change namservers accordingly... please use search next time....

Yes i think you are right ! bot believe me , ! i dont see any fields to enter my TLD , i`m in the " my account management " part , here i can see 2 buttons ( links ) 1-login ... to my free web hosting that i have just opened here , 2- create new web hosting account .

when i push that create ... it just wants me to create an other free web account with its own extension ( TLD s ) like ( 99k.org , zxq.net )
and no other place to identify my own domain .com ! or DNS changings ...

also when i try to type my domain in that field it says
Registration Error
The username may only consist of %s-%s lower case letters, digits, and dashes.

ok finnally i`ve found that , I must have logged in to that free web account before i can do this , i thought only logging in to the zymic.com account would be enough ... nice though , here i think i have read some where that we can have as many free accounts as we like ! i f this being correct then this service would be great ! especially for the web site lovers and owners .! they can have many free web hostings and join each of them to one of their domains !!! o my goodness !!! lol i am not one of those but reaalllllly great !! all i can say !!

i have got another questions , the problem is this ,
1-I have uploaded some pics ( jpg , png ) and some programs ( .zip ) to this web hosting space , and then i have placed their link to my own domain ( .com ) and also to the domain that i have created here ( .99k.org ) .
the pics and the files are accessible in the free domain ( .99k.org ) and there is no problem ( no problem in downloading or viewing the pics in the html )
i have identified my ( .com ) in this free web hosting , via this part of account settings ...

but in my own domain the zip is accessible for download ( the security is working correct ) but the pics are not loading in the way that both urls are the same in both of the htmls on the 2 domains !!! why is this happening ? is it a problem of slow bandwidth or transfer rate that these days is happening for the server ?
because in both htmls the links of the pictures from my other file hosting are working correctly ! and they are showing up in the html .
and only this web host pics arent showing up ! please guide me on this ..

also there is something that i dont know but maybe this can fix this problem , some thimes , only sometimes when i click on the pictures in the html of the ( . com ) domain to open the pics , a window opens containing the error 403 , Forbidden . you havent installed index.html on the current folder ... or this is not in small characters index.html or index.htm
( i wonder if i havent uploaded the index.html how did the site comes up then !!! )

and some times it doesnt show this window , and in the window that opens it brings the picture !!! ( if there was a security permisson error ) how could it show the pics some times ?

but in the html, picture thumbnail view it always do not bring the pics ... only after the picture being cached then by selecting show picture it will bring it up !

i should say is it showing the custom . com domain that is attached to the host in that filed or it will always show the default ( free domain ) there?

i dont uderstand what do you mean , if u say my posts iare not clearing the problem , tell me to explain more , and if you talk about the importance of the domain for me , i must say i want the registered ( . com ) domain to stay main , and primitive . and the free domain ( .99k.org ) as my second domain . perhaps i dont continue my site on the free domain ... i just need the web hosting for my ( .com ) domain ...

in my previous post i asked if there is any place to show us the domains that are connected to the web hostings , as it shows the free default domain...as it shows in the other free web hostings ( like giga... excuse me , if this is breaking the laws of this forum let me delete it then ! )

i need to know if the domain ( .com ) has gained the accesss to tis host or not ... please tell me more in details .. thanks

but it is not fixed !
you know i was thinking about the second method code]<img src="images/image.png" />[/code] it is not usable at all when the index and the files are not in the same host or address !!

i finnally reached this idea !! upload my pics to some file hosting and then use their hot direct link in the html !!! and this is working better than this !!!
i can only use the web hostings for the files that will load in a separate window or a seperate download process , which are not loaded in the html pages directly from the domain !!! hope this Helps

i have found where the problem arises !!!
in the custom domain registering pages of the free web hostings we can identify our domains in 2 types 1- with its www.mysite.com 2-http://mysite.com some of the web hosting accept both if them , but i see here only the 2nd type can be used !

when i use the 2nd type for identify ing my own domain to this web hosting to use & activate its security, the 2 loading address of my site do different actions !! the httl://misite.com shows the pics correctly but the www.mysite.com doesn`t show them !! it says error 403 forbidden !! you do not have permission to access the files !
this is because of the security of the referer address !! when the web hosting identifies only the http:// ... it will only allow this one , and when it identifies the www. ... that address will be permitted .

i think this issue can be fixed by letting the custom domains being registered in both formats .

till that fixes i will use the file hostings with direct links and place my pics links from there . instead of the web hostings !
i`ll be thankful for any ideas or helps ...
