What's a good free FTP? I found some but most are just free trials.

There is also a built in ftp client in windows though, if you open:



in windows explorer, it will establish an ftp connection you can drag and drop files into it. It's very primitive though.

FileZilla is the best!! I think theres one built into Firefox too.

I used a free trial one once(flash fxp or something) and switched to FileZilla, didn't like it as much, but now I wouldn't use anything else.

I actually prefer the one in Windows. It works exactly like the windows explorer

same, its alot better than most of its competition, although ive never used filezilla(or whatever its called).

thats the one i use, and i had the trial now i have FULL. i never EVER had any problem with it... i can open many many FTP's at once... gaming servers, servers... sites.. anyhing... chmoding is REALLY simple... and drop files is quite cool and easy.

but i never tryed any others so i can't judge... but i can harldy think anything else than what smart ftp client offers me...

I use FireFTP sometimes, if I can't be bothered to change window from Firefox.

I have been using Filezilla since release, and its my favorite... i wouldn't trade it for the world.

I've heard good things about FireFTP, which is an FTP add-on for Firefox.

If you're willing to pay, CuteFTP is also very good.

FireFTP is amazing, I have tried like every main one out there, some are slow, some are just crap.

FireFTP is fast, inside firefox and just got everything you need.

I personally use WS_FTP. It's free and I like it.

I have always used the free version of SmartFTP, never needed anything else.
