Hi Guys,

I am based in South Africa, and got myself a domain (rooiwillie.co.za). I have asked the guys who I bought it from, to change the name servers to ns1.zzl.org and ns2.zz.org, but they say they need the ip address to forward it to.

Unfortunately I am new to the whole idea of hosting and Domains, but I understood it that I need to buy the domain, and point the name servers as needed, and all would be ok?

I have found the section where I need to update the ip address, but what is my account's IP address?

This is what they said:
"This looks like a transfer request. The new host should send a transfer ticket if it's the case. If you like to point it, then we need an IP address to point it to. "

What is the difference between the name servers and the IP? And, where can I locate the correct IP address?
Thanks!

Rudi

well ns servers should work just fine but for you to get the ip address we would need to know what your zymic url is

add ns1.zzl.org and ns2.zzl.org and nothing else to your custom domain then WAIT up to 48 hrs before adding it to your hosting accout
