If we already purchased a domain name from somewhere else is it possible to have a site here with that domain name. Also if so where would I point my domain name to? Thank you for whomever answers this question.

just add the ns servers on your hosting account to your domain registar and make sure its only our ns servers and then WAIT up to 48 hrs before adding it to your hosting account under "Add Custom Domain"
