Hi guys, i am still new here but i have been a web designer for almost 3 years, i just made a new design for my online diamond commerce website http://www.ondiamonds.com , and i'd really like to get some feedback from you guys, I'd really appreciate honest reviews! positive and negative feed backs would be appreciated!

The site looks nice but i do not think it is really appropriate for diamonds.

I would of personally use a brown dark color, since diamonds sounds with gold and the gold color is well matched with some brown, and th diamond color as a white will make a perfect gradient between brown gold and white.

Also i would of try to make something more simple, see diamonds sounds calm to me.. i mean, nothing really BOOM BOOM so i would of look for a dark simple place to browse slowly and quietly... here i feel kind of provocated.

Just my impression...

I'd have to disagree with you..

Because if you were to ask someone "What colours they thought when you say the word diamond", they'd most likely tell you straight up; bright, clear and crisp colours. Which he has done, and I think he's done a very good job of it..

You are not going to carry a diamond it self are you ?

No, you are going to put it on a neck less or a bracelet or a ring, you are going to put your diamond on a "surface", on something. He is not a diamond dealer, as i see he sales rings...

What is the MAIN surface you are going to set over a diamond ? gold, white or gold. I think 80percent of jewelery is made with the actual yellow gold. If not it is going to be white gold, platinum... and any other things... but most likely gold.

Which brings us to a website matching to a dark brown gold color.

for example :

http://www.philippetournaire.com/

Of course his color is NOT bad at all and can work good, but i think something calm would look better.

I see an extremely big gap at the bottom of the page.....

I think it’s very appropriate, nice and clean and easily accessible.

Nice job.
