At last the long waited sZ Buttons Kit is ready! sZ Buttons Kit is a easy to use, easy to integrate kit that brings you some “brilliant buttons” (Forrst user). This buttons-kit is created to provide ease in the web-development process for all designers and developers. The buttons and icons can be used by anyone on any website. You are welcomed to not only use this kit for your work but also encouraged to modify, customize and enhance this work so that it can help make the design community even more. This release of the kit only includes small button icons with a selection of 30 different icon buttons. You can even add more by adding a few simple lines of code. The icons used in the buttons are FamFamFam’s Silk Icon set. I used them mostly because of my engineering mindset: “why re-invent the wheel?” The code was inspired by Nick Roach and AListApart.

Fully Coded

One wonderful feature of this kit is that it is FULLY coded and compatible with a large number of browsers. This list includes:

  • Chromium 9.0 +

Share Alike License

I am developing this kit to help the design and development community out and not for my own sake. I feel that just providing a product for free download (in this case) does not really help a community unless they get to play around with the files and codes. With that said, I am providing this kit under the Creative Commons Share Alike license (read more on it in the demo page). You can modify the buttons and the source code to anything you like. Note that I did not make the icons, so those follow the license provided by FamFamFam.
