Hi,
Is it normal that the loading of the pages of my website is very very slow? It takes like 5 mins to load a page. It's not because of the pictures, there's none. If someone could help me, thank you

Everyone else says it's fast though. =.=

It seems everytime I go to my site it takes for ever to load the page, and now it is saying I don't have an index page and I cannot even log in via FTP to check it. What is going on here over at Zymic?

yeah i got the same problem mate it takes ages 2 load a page !!!
and when it does so it looses 1 of the pages that make sthe website?!?!?!

can someone help!

Yep, me too very slow - my pages take 2-5 minutes to load up. It reminds me of the bad od pre-broadband days.

My pages are pretty light on the graphics too - however there are quite a few small images.

The status bar at bottom says something along the lines of: "(8 items remaining) waiting for http://alisonstephen.zxq.net/ ..." and then sits there for an age.

Something like Geocities/tripod loads these pages in a flash ...

I'm new to Zymic. I like the setup, but this speed is killing me .... enough to motivate me into moving to be honest - hope it can be fixed as I like the setup here. Oh well hopefully it will be fixed soon .....!!

Yeah, same here. I really like zymic, but the speed/loading is an issue for me because I can't run my forums if I can't see them.

We're working on expanding our resources and buying new servers. Sorry for the slowness, but the majority of the time your pages should load fast. I loaded up all of the websites listed in this topic pretty quickly, that said its not peak time.
