Im getting the error:

Failed to create directory "/www/99k.org/o/z/g/ozguild/htdocs/components/com_smf/"

im trying to install a componet for joomla which links my joomla install to my smf forum and as i understand it this error is occuring because of php safe mode being turned on.

i tryed installing it manually with no luck and played with various chmod settings to no avail.

any idea how i can fix this problem or am i stuck?

Uploading components/bots to joomla doesn't seem to work right quite yet...

use search for manually installing joomla components, i posted a link to a tutorial that might solve the issue... then again idk for sure.
