I have Wordpress installed just fine, but I can't upload any files through the dashboard.

The uploaded file could not be moved to /www/zymichost.com/.../htdocs/wp-content/uploads.

My database user has full privileges, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any clues?

Anyone? I can't imagine this is a complicated question/solution.

Hey Rosemary. I had the same problem as you so I tried to figure out what the problem was. What I gathered from other posts was that Zymic doesn't allow remote access, so it doesn't let your WordPress upload onto your website.

The way I solved that was to use this plugin, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add-from-server/
I copied the files into /wp-content/plugins/, did some refreshing and it all worked out.
I'm assuming you want to upload files to your media library though.
One word of note: I added an "uploads" folder in wp-content. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but I guess it doesn't hurt to be organized. Haha.

Good luck!

Rats, I was afraid this might be the case. The workaround looks like it has potential, but in the mean time I've found another free host that doesn't have this limitation. I guess Zymic just isn't a good solution for WordPress hosting. Bummer!
