I have successfully installed SMF on my webiste, but I need to convert our existing kunena forum to SFM. When I try to follow the instructions regarding Kunena to SMF conversion found in the SMF support forum (here), I get the following error:

QUOTE

The converter detected that your host has open_basedir enabled on this server. Please ask your host to disable this setting or try moving the contents of your Kunena 1.5 to the public html folder of your site.

I understand disabling open_basedir is most probably out of the question, so how do I move the contents to the public html of my site? I am new to all this, any help would be welcomed.
