It's been several days without service for all of us who have out website in vndv.
I would expect some information from Zymic regarding this. I didn't ask for vndv, it was just the hosting they gave me.
And my webpage doesn't exist anymore for days now.
This is not serious.
I would like to know some official word on what is happening with vndv and what users should do now.

its unstable do to the missing HDD and so that is what is causing the VNDV server to go. there is nothing that we can do so you have to wait to make a backup and put it on a new hosting account.

What do you mean with "you have to wait"? Should some specific thing happen before we can do anything to move our websites?
And when you say "a new hosting account", does it mean outside Zymic or is there a tool so we can choose another subhost from our Zymic account??
At this point what I see is that Zymic is alive and vndv is dead but I chose Zymic as my hosting, the rest was not up to me.

since VNDV was closed to new hosting accounts we have another server that is hosting new hsoting accounts so what you have to do is to go to
http://zymic.com/zcp and just sign up for a new hosting account. Now the ETA is unknown so that is why im saying wait

The main question is how long we have to wait?
Maybe for some users it's high time to look for an other web hosting and don't waste time. I understand it is a free web hosting and people who using it now can't raise a claim cuz they don't pay money for it- it is ok but this forum is created for what? for resolving problem with a free web hosting. I can't see any help from support, the answer for mys question is you have to wait . Sorry, but for me it's hard to understand.

Help me out with some of these acronyms. What is HDD, or where do I go to learn what they stand for? Teach me, I'm not afraid to learn, just don't expect me to remember.

I signed up for a zymichost.com account but now I need the IP addresses for the two name servers for my custom domain name to work. I can't find the IPs anywhere, how can I get them?

Vndv was back a couple of days ago but that doesn't guarantee anything.
What I don't understand is why I can't get the IP addresses for the name servers for the new Zymichost account I set up.
I need them for my custom domain name to work.
Any clue??
Cheers

I think that waiting is not a good idea, move your webpage to another hosting like zymichost. I did it and hope it will work better.
Having a website that is available only from time to time is like having no website at all or worse.
Thanks ssfdre38 for the info on the IPs fro Zymichost.
