I was just wondering if you could turn on the URL-aware fopen. I need it in my site to show thumbnails instead of big imaegs and a MOD that is called Lightbox JavaScript. Ive read another post saying that you can't but i want to know why, so that we can talk it and maybe you can turn it on for me

we have it disabled to prevent proxy scripts and the like from working. Though I had disabled it; it appears cURL is back again but that will soon be being removed, so don't rely upon it. I can appreciate legitimate need for it though.

Ok, now i understand. But, if you trun it on for me, it will affect all the other sites also? or it would be just for my site? Im just curiouss
