I'm developing a facebook app and apparently there are some php files that can be installed on the server to gain access to the facebook api's.
Is this something you guys have already put on the server? or should I utilize these files in my own directory?

* facebookapi_php5_restlib.php contains the implementation of the methods that constitute the client library.
* facebook.php contains a class that can be used by the web client application.
* facebook_desktop.php contains a class that can be used by the desktop client application.

I'm afraid you won't be able to get a Facebook application to work, the server blocks all outgoing connections from scripts and Facebook's API naturally requires a remote connection.
