So my university provides LDAP and CAS authentication. I tried setting up LDAP authentication on my phpBB forum hosted here but I got an error similar to "LDAP extension not available". Then I thought about using CAS but I really don't know where to begin for that. I'd like to know what I need on the hosting side and what info I need to ask on my university's IT department to set this up.
Kindly help out a poor soul here!
