I want to know if google analytic is required or if it can be removed form my site. I am trying to run some javascript but the javascript for google analytic is getting in the way and preventing it form working.
Tom
I doubt it's preventing anything from working. What's your site?

Hi

If possible I would also like it removed!
URL: hsmpt.zxq.net

I think this feature is interesting but could be optional with a set/reset possibility on the "My Account Management" page for instance.

Thank you.

Please remove auto google analytic code from: myspacez.zxq.net

I can add the google analytic code manually if Zymic need to track its hosted website traffic.

Thank you.

Is Google Analytics some sort of traffic tracking system? I'd like to remove it from my site (as it is interfering with this Flash applet, which simply gets a variable from another page). It should simply return 'abc' into the text box, but instead I get some HTML and JavaScript from Google Analytics. But I don't want to lose the ability to track my hits...

Oops, forgot to say, my account is http://cheesypoof.99k.org/

Jack just wondering, I never asked to have it removed from my site, but it's not there. And is this google anylytic something I'm able to view myself, and it is related to that countall thing in the CP?

http://trippin.zxq.net is my site, if you wanna look. Is it something the server is supposed to automatically put on every html page or what?

Hi,

Yeah that's strange, I haven't disabled it for your account, but I'll dig into it more. Analytics is just there so I can monitor the current traffic usage across the whole hosted network with ease, see what sites are getting the most hits and why (e.g. majority of the time the sites are up to no good). Its a free service from Google, you could sign-up yourself so you can see the stats at http://www.google.com/analytics/ - The countall thing needs to be implemented again, but this is not related to Google.

Yea i've signed up for google analytics already but I really don't like them so much, I personally prefer http://getclicky.com at least for personal use. You can't use it if your site gets over 50,000 hits I think.

***edit*** Holy crap 100 posts!

Please remove the google analytic code from: sbros.vndv.com ... thanks
