Hello and thanks in advance for your help smile.gif.

This is weird: visitors to this site are being automatically redirected to someplace called "down.onlinedowns.net/page/image/zzt.htm".

This site is on a zymichost subdomain and was working even a while ago.

Is this a server issue or is it a local problem?
Alex
I cannot confirm this, seems to work.

Thanks a million for the prompt response.

I'm currently checking the site from a public terminal and yes, the site seems to work fine.

But when I access it from my personal terminal, I get that weird redirection.

At least, I was getting it before I decided to check it from a public terminal. This was some 15 minutes ago [I'm posting this from the said public terminal].

I'll get back to my personal terminal and see if this weird stuff is still going on...

Thanks a lot once again. And sorry for the trouble smile.gif

Alex, can you figure out what’s happening?

This [below] is a screenshot of the page loading on my personal terminal

You can see the two different URLs [the CORRECT one in the URL/address field, and the WRONG one in the status bar below].

I don’t know what’s causing this to happen…

Hmm, I'd be inclined to think one of two things:
  • Frame based redirection, possibly forced by intranet proxy
  • Malware at play

Try the link in Firefox, IE is too easily infected, if no change, view the source:

CODE
view-source:http://www.hospitalarticles.zymichost.com/

see if there are any frames or active x controls etc. If there is a change, run spybot search and destroy, worth checking your hosts file too.

@Bread: Thanks.

I checked the the source and the hosts file -- looks okay.

Did some other kind of 'e-snooping' too: I have this li'l app called WinPatrol running all the time -- it detects changes made to various difficult-to-locate-but-crucial places including the registry and the hosts file. Plus I use HijackThis to scan for unwanted changes. And [smile.gif] I also use RegProt to prevent unwanted changes from happening. It's just that I like my personal computer to be personal.

The funny thing is this redirection happens only for that particular site and no other sites.

Many thanks to Alex and Bread -- response was prompt and the service helpful.

I'll post if any further weird stuff happens...
