The ftp password I received when I confirmed my account is a multicharacter string of jibberish. Is this what it's meant to be, or is this an error? It doesn't work when I paste it into FileZilla and I certainly can't remember it. Please advise.

i believe its to hide your real password, use the password you registered with. Don't remember that either? Reset it.

Thanks. That's the assumption I started with, but my "real" password didn't work. Then I saw something on one of the threads that said you had to use the password you get sent when you confirm, not your login password.

So, I'm getting nowhere. Maybe the problem is that I just set this account up this evening and it isn't in anyone's database yet.

Yes, I realize that. I'm saying that the password I used to register, which is the same one I use to login into my control panel and this forum, doesn't work when I plug it into FileZilla. So maybe the problem lies somewhere else.
