This is a website for my guild, its finished 90% so I can have it fully reviewed just yet but this is my first attempt at fully ccs website so dont shoot me would you. I gotta thank my partner Ian over at e.i.c.d.i. with out his kick in the butt it wouldnt be done.

www.souls-of-elysium.info

the only page that works is the homepage, havent coded in all the content for the others just yet.

The design is nice, simplistic. Too thin though in my opinion, especially with the huge amount of padding you've got. The content looks very squished.

Markup could be better, but isn't terrible. A few things that layout suffers from:
  • Lack of organisation/indentation - everything is at the beginning of the line, there's not much coherent spacing... is this caused by the upload? If not you should really learn how to indent your code.
  • Divitus - way too many divs for the job, I would say you only need one for this layout (to make that grey content box) the rest can be achieved with semantic tags and stylesheet information.
  • Line break, line break, line break, line break - don't pad with <br />, use padding and margins.

Keep practising. smile.gif

I agree with everything that Alex said.

I think the design a a whole looks good. I would change the styling of the "Elysium" text on the header since it looks a bit funky. I would also widen the layout.

Overall though the design is very good.

The header is kind of boring, doesn't go with a gaming type deal. But nice concept using space and content organization

I like it...Most of what I can say has already been said but I don't like the "Top" link...Maybe put an arrow pointing up in the footer?
