Hi im new here and was hoping someone could tell me how to get pictures to work on my website when I type it into the browser it loads the page but all the pictures are all white and have a little red x on the top left hand corner
also im making my website in microsoft publisher and ive uploaded it to my file manager then when I view my page
it is there but none of the navigation bars will work so I was hoping someone could help me with thes two problems

First of all, stop using Microsoft Publisher, it's really not recommended. I would recommend Notepad++/ConTEXT.

As to the images, you probably have the paths wrong. If you put your images in an "images" directory (or folder), then the path will usually be something like <img src="images/image.jpg" alt="Description of your image">

Yes but can you translate that into user freindly language for me plz I have know idea what you are talking about sorry
im new and dont know much yet also notpad++ looks like promising program but have know idea to code html so that im afraid wont work any other suggestions

Yes, learn HTML. You might get lucky and find someone here who works in publisher, but odds are very very low, because it's so utterly poor.

The only good way to get a HTML page up, is to write the HTML yourself. WYSIWYG is a poison, it generates mess.

ok but can you still help me with my problem with the pictures ive searched threw many other posts and alot of people had the same problem with the pictures and also when I go to click on any of the navigation bars when I click on them it comes up with the Zymic notifaction message saying there is and error can you please help me but tell me in a easy understandible way please cause I dont know much.

and if u want to learn html w3schools.net i think it is, is a good place to start...you cant go wrong if you write the html yourself.

and it works just fine but when I well after I save it as an html extension then open it in a new browser the pictures still have little red x on the top left hand corner so can any one help me with this problem

I fixed the issue for you, your image paths were pointing to /index_files/, yet you uploaded your images to /images/. I simply renamed /images/ to /index_files/

still not all of the images are sowing up and the navigation bars still wont work
