I'm looking for a CMS, but not really.
One of my friends already has a website made. However, she would like to change content to certain parts only. It there a type of CMS that will allow me to include it on my pages, and have a nice user friendly editing GUI?
Basically, she has a php/html/css website. In order to change the content, you have to go into each page and edit the php/html. I would like to make it easier for her to edit "certain parts" or maybe even a page that I can "embed" on one of her existing pages, through a simple GUI.
Is this possible?
Thanks.

Nice, boy.
CMS (Content Manajemen System) is a simple method for you to make a website. You can prefer CMS what you like. There are many of CMS, like Joomla, Mambo, drupal, Postnuke, AuraCMS and others. I have made my web by CMS too. CMS that I used is Joomla
http://joomla.org for my other site
http://gudepcps.zzl.org, and AuraCMS
http://auracms.org for my site on
http://kirman.zzl.org All of them are easy and simply to learned.
Have fun with CMS guys.

DRUPAL allows users to have their own pages with their codes as well. It's one of the more flexible CMS out there.

Why don't you get something like fusionPHP or CuteNews and just edit the news template to fit your site. And it offers user registrations (cuteNews does, I don't remember about fusionPHP)

No, fusionPHP is just a news script, but their site fusionphp.net has been defaced by some hacker. I have a copy of it on my computer, but I don't know if it's the latest version of it. If you want I can give you a download of it. I just looked at phpfusion, and that is a CMS script. FusionPHP is just a news script.

Make your own

Lol - That's what I'm going to do. I find that most stupid CMS's come with wayyyy too many damn features.
I like simple, is that too much to ask?

Ima make my own simple one some day and put it up on my site.
