Hello everyone I am new to this forum, and I would like to get advice from you.

I am currently learning the php tutorial on the www.w3schools.com website, but i do not feel like they are really getting into the things they teach.

If anyone has a good tutorial or website that i can use in order to learn php, please let me know.

I dont know where is the exactly the best php other programming tutorial. But I always get what I want when I search on google by type "free ebook (ie:java,php,etc)". By ebook, we get the explanation step by step from the first, usually. To make more references, you can download all of that ebook if you want.

The best site for tutorials is pixel2life, because they get tutorials submitted to THEM. So its basically a directory of every tutorial known to man!

Well it's how I learned php, I read other people tutorials and tried to figure out what they did. I'm sorry but I've never found that READING is going to teach me anything, DOING teaches me everything. So get out and TRY writing php. Start simple with a simple print command. Don't worry about MySQL access right now, I say second try includes.
