Edit: This bug has been resolved, however for all of you who experienced it, simply ignore the long random password sent to you, and use the password you intended to have when you signed up.

Thanks

Hello,

We are currently investigating a password bug, please help us if you have had this problem.

When you create a hosting account, fill out the form, and then your custom password you are sent an account info email. The problem is, some people get sent a different password than what they signed up with, its a long weird looking random character string, such as below:

Dear Zymic Member,

You have sucessfully registered your web hosting account clients.zxq.net!

Please note the following account data:

User Name: username

Password: $1$cppIN2nd$yFUVxx4Q772FVG4TLv5Ms.

If you have experienced this problem, please:
  • Forward your account info email to admin@zymic.com
  • Put the password you originally signed up with (the one you actually wanted) somewhere in the email.
By doing so you will be helping us to debug the problem.

Thanks
