if you got a domain & don't know how to point it to zymic.com then use this

Step 1: Visit http://www.editdns.net/

Step 2: Register An Account

Step 3: Verify Your Email

Step 4: Login & Add Domain



Step 5: Update Your Nameservers to following

If you want to use US nameservers:

ns1.us.editdns.net - 74.52.212.235
ns2.us.editdns.net - 38.114.198.6
ns3.us.editdns.net - 64.251.10.77


If you want to use EU nameservers:

ns1.eu.editdns.net - 87.239.16.157
ns2.eu.editdns.net - 91.186.15.45


Step 6: Start Controlling Your Domain....

Step 7: Point Your Domain To your Zymic site


yourdomain.com A 1 86400 74.86.20.181

Step 8: Point to MX Records

Signup Here http://www.google.com/a/ With your Domain Use This


yourdomain.com MX 10 86400 aspmx5.googlemail.com.
yourdomain.com MX 10 86400 aspmx4.googlemail.com.
yourdomain.com MX 10 86400 aspmx3.googlemail.com.

Replace yourdomain.com with your domain

After 24 hours it will activate

But all the admins keep saying this feature isn't working. Can someone give me a straight answer (and all the other people on the forums)
Are we able to change our domain name in our control panel?

This method differs from the one specified in the control panel in that in this one you end up using your own nameservers to direct traffic to zymic.com, rather than zymic.com's nameservers. I haven't tried it yet, but this seems like it could potentially work if the problem with domains stems from zymic's nameservers.
