Hi all,

I have create an account on Zymic because it's free smile.gif and because it's probably more flexible than general hosting companies.
So i have a domain name and a hosting at OVH but i can't locate my own server application in C# on the apache server.
I don't know if it's possible on Zymic and i don't know how.
I'm ready to transfer all (domain, hosting, and more) at Zymic.

I just want to add these informations. I'm a 22 years old french guy (that's really not important) smile.gif
My project in the Warcraft3-like, a browser game.
I developp in PHP/SQL, Javascript/XHR, CSS and my friend will developp the server application in C#.
I do quite good things with Photoshop but i paid a freelance illustrator for the "drawing cartoons".
My project will be totally free that's the reason why i search free hosting structure.
It will be translated in UK as soon as possible.
I still have lot of work but i have not deadline, it will took the time required.
I will developp a Quick battle mode to challenge friends, a story mode with Non-Player Character (and so an AI with pathfinding) and perhaps a third mode, in the way of Warcraft 3 with buildings.
I don't want to spam this topic so if you want the URL (there is currently nothing else than the newsletter register and the graphics), so send me a Private Message.

Thanks for your help.

Sorry if it requires an outgoing connection, no, it won't work as the server does not permit outgoing connections.

What did you mean by outgoing connection ?
Sorry, i talk you about my project and not about the application.
It will be a kind of swap/buffer, it will avoid to hit the database at each move of a unit.
The application will not have a connection with a distant database, it will use the Zymic DB.

As i work with Comet XHR, clients can heard and wait events from the server. So there's no real thread.
Client will wait for a Statut 200 Header response to open a new XHR.
It's just like a webservice with "permanent" connections.
