Why can't I do a webinstall of SM Forum? The only other option is uploading a ton of files by hand and I don't know how to upload large folders.

Use an FTP Client as in Filezila Client it allows you to connect to your site and upload files & folders.

yes it will extract all the files and upload them seperatley then put them back into the folder. An FTP client works a lot better and it is faster.

I use Smart FTP.
To me it seems alot easier for a "newbie" on FTP.
All you did is drag files off of your desktop or folder onto this program.
It solves everything. I use it. need any help with it, just ask.

OKay, I have downloaded FileZilla, now, if my site is http://oldbeast.99k.org, what do I put in the host, username, password, and port boxes? Thanks in advance.

Smf of Phpbb3?

personally, i was able to install smf easier. however, phpbb3 is more advanced and you are able to do more with it. Either way, they both work great.
