i go an create database and username then i click "launch phpmyadmin" and it comes up and i enter username and pw i created but it just pops up again blank wanting me to do it again i click caancel it says "wrong username/password"

Have you tried using PHPMiniAdmin? It also loads much faster.

What is your database username?

Make sure it has no symbols in it (only alphanumeric) and make it as short as possible.

My site is http://www.freecrm.zymichost.com - and all I got so far is an index page!

I too have had lots of problems with both phpmyadmin and phpminiadmin - both pages take ages to load and eventually I just get "IE cannot load the wepage"

I have set up a database correctly, made a user and assisgned priviledges. I can get into the main page (only right frame loads) but when I try to get intot he database to create tables etc - It just don't wanna happen!

Is this a common problem???

I think its great that zymic is a free host but if you can't use it........?

Unless there is some unusual setting that I have to do? I'm used to using LAMP systems but I've never had a problem like this.

ok i have been trying for hours for phpmyadmin to work, heres exactly what i did , dont know if its related:
deleted my database usernames , created another username this time i used only 1 letter,
the database username password was the same as my username at zymic , so i put another password.
i set the privilage of the user , then opeend phpminiadmin , then voila! it entered
i hope this helps someone , try using 1 letter as username and do not use the same password as ur zymic account.

About username... make it uncapitalized. Not sure if you guys are doing or if it's a problem, but It's worth a try. I had similar problems at different hosts and the problem was that I was using capitalized letters.
