I havent ever been able to get into PHPMyadmin and nor, as i've found can some other people. There must be an issue with it somewhere along the line and i find it quite frankly patronising the amount of times in different threads people have said "the username is the username you created for the database not your account username" - I know that, i can read instructions.

I'm sure there are probably more but i cant be bothered to trawl through anymore.

I signed up for an account a month and a half ago and had this problem right from the beggining. I tried everything i could think of, including recreating the database and user multiple times. I made a post in the fourth thread in the above list. Everyone just palmed it off as user error. i thought to myself "i'll leave it a while and come back, by then someone must have accepted theres a problem". Checking all the threads today it would appear that everyone is still in denial.

Just because you can't replicate the problem it doesn't mean its not there. Acceptance is the first step to actually sorting it out.

Just to satisfy those who are going to say i'm doing something wrong:

I'm hoping that by providing these screenshots people will realise that PHPMyadmin genuinely isnt working.

Sorry for being negative but it seems to me as though this problem is simply being ignored.

Try a shorter username, there seems to be an arbitrary limit on the length of the username that is recognised. So try something like :
