Okay, ive been with Zymic and really like it, it has a perfect amount of resources and its clean and simple. I use the hosting for some of my php scripts etc. This being said, alot of people are waiting to see my site (no joke, seriously quite a few who actually arnt related to me.. lol). Now, i say to them, "im going to allow public access for tommorow so you guys can all see."

Now, i go into FileZilla.... o.... what? Why cant it connect?

That is very frustrating, especially because im hosting some content for use on public forums, so when i get downtime, its not just the site, all the images being used on forums go down.

How can i stay here, i mean i want to but i would like a date when this stuff is gonna get fixed. Please. Now you know people are going nuts because we want to use this amazing site when you see hundreds of people using this emoticon:

(PS: I can see like 4 people monitoring the downtime topic waiting for it to go back. )

Im not an admin or mod for this site.
But i tried reselling and its very hard.
Theres a problem and then you get hit by 100+ people.
I am sure the Zymic team is working on it as fast as they can.
Im upset too my site is down, but remember its a FREE hosting.
Only thing i would like to say is sorry and please be patient.

Well, you could always run a mirror of your site on a home server in cause of events like this or even on another less appealing host?

Yeah im not trying to sound to aggressive but yeah. I just like this place so much and it would so much better if we could have a date when they think this stuff will be sorted.

This is the only host I have found that allows pretty much unlimited web sites, if you don't need that then there are a few others out there with no ads.

Google is your friend. I tried quite a few out though and Zymic still provides the best features and usability, but it has to be up to do that

google works but im not sure if it has ftp...or you can find a site like dot.tk that will link to your site...but im not sure if they have ftp either. There really isnt a site like zymic out there.

There are plenty out there with FTP. I have found a lot of others almost exactly the same in what they offer except for the ability to host more than 1-3 web sites. The Zymic Control Panel is the most user friendly free web hosting control panel out there as well. I have only found one free web host that offered the same specs and allowed you use of CPanel 11, but it only allowed 1-3 domains to be hosted with them.

I do recommend staying with Zymic though as it is the best in the long run. Jack has the best interest of his customers in mind and is working on fixing the downtime.

wozztm Luke was saying use google to SEARCH not for the hosting. There are actually 5 hosts of which i'm a member that has ftp, php enabled, and most of the features that zymic has, but zymic actually is the best out of them all. The forum is great, the amount of storage is great etc.

And if you PM me asking for the links, I won't give them out. I am not going to do that to zymic.

I'll be honest, my phone was put on silent, I have no idea why. Anyway when the server crashed at 4:40AM I did not hear the alert, and only noticed when I woke up at 8AM.

Anyway, the good news is we have found the problem, it was crashing at 4:40AM because of an old cronjob trying to dump all of our databases - it has been removed and this downtime shouldn't happen again.
