Hi,
I finished my site and have added a couple of articles, reviews etc. over the last couple of days because I know that I need content.
What can I improve upon? Is the navigation OK? Is the quality of the content OK etc. etc...
Site is located at:

I suggest bringing it up to W3 standards,
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%...ine&group=0As your validation didnt do so hot. I suggest on error:
CODE
Line 144, Column 82: there is no attribute "border".
…AESgegqDyR4ImH8LiYvgply3TEWA" border="0" width="18" height="18" alt="Motigo W
To replace border="0" with
CODE
style="border:0;"

My site is 100% valid but the motigo icon (implemented from another site) is not valid code, but I cannot help therefore. Anything else?

its pretty good

i think text size or font should be changed though. It looks just a tad squished...

As a whole it is OK. There is nothing that really stands out about the layout, as it is fairly generic. The right navigation as a whole feels a bit understyled. The site is solid though, so pretty good job.

Very nice - I like the gray gradient, and it is really simple. The text and links do seem a bit squashed - maybe restyle these so they match the layout, but don't look so jammed together.

Thank you all for the reviews and help. I will adjust the font sizes but do you feel it's only the left navigation's fonts that look squashed or the site as a while? Perhaps a tad smaller site fonts and a bit more spacing between text on the left?
Thank you

Pretty solid layout but:
Left navigation needs padding.
Header seems too small in width.
IP address is a tad random.
Top padding on yellow content box is uneven.

Hi Jack,
I appreciate your detailed review of my site very much. I have been listening to the complaints (suggestions) of the font that's too cramped and have tried to alleviate that irretation a little by adding some padding to the fonts and I sized the fonts down a tad.
This is not the first time that someone questions the IP address issue. I plan to remove that in a couple of weeks since I have something better which will reserve that spot on the page.
As for the banner, I know it looks pretty crap. I don't know how to create an image that will scale perfectly to the size of the user's screen size because the layout is liquid and works with percentages so the image will have to scale on smaller resolutions and I don't know how to do that. I am however thinking of another plan of how I will handle the issue with a better looking banner/logo that will float to the left rather than the centre and perhaps add a search bar to the left.
Any other help and recommendations is greatly appreciated
Thanks again!

Very nice ideas! Maybe you can add a search in place of that IP.

That is a good idea Paranoid, but I'm thinking of adding the search to the header. I have already removed the IP thing and I've replaced the banner today and made many more "unseeable" changes that will help a bit with SEO.

Its looking alot better, but the menu links are messed up. They are creating a new line, which pushed your sidebar to the right about 50px and caused your main content area to drop below the side bar. So you will probably need to shorten the title of one or more of your menu items.
I'm on 1024x768 screen resolution viewing on Firefox if that helps you troubleshoot that problem.

i suggest adding CSS to some of your links... i do not know why but some of them are styled but not others... kind of messy :/
also, but thats just an opinion :
where it says "ressource for the masses" i think you should use this as a BG navigation, make it larger (same size as current nav) and put your links over that instead of having a luight blue nav.

The logo is kinda pointless, you could work on getting a more interesting and more unique header. Nice job so far.

I'll see what I can do on the logo in a few days - won't be home for a couple o' days. Thanks for the comments.
