I'm sorry to say, but I'm 99.9% positive this is a paid site. Web hosts pay sites tons of money to get their sites listed up high, and I can name at least 10 hosts better than the ones listed. You are either fooled, or advertising for this fake site.

Edit: "Wiz Web Host" even has a banner ad at the bottom, this is so obviously paid.

www.downthe.net Best host, Cpanel and alot more biggrin.gif

I'm impressed with http://www.dreamhost.com

The level of access they give you is excellent, very rare to be given ssh access and being able to compile your own php cgi binary.

I also had a good experience with Dreamhost, and recommend it.

The only problem I've ever had with webhosts is in pricing. I can't afford to pay anually, only monthly. And, I know that it's generally not worth a webhosts time to get paid monthly. Meaning, I get out of luck. The only hosting I know of which allows you to pay monthly is www.gatorhost.com.

I also tried checking out DreamHost... site didn't work (www.dreamhost.net).

My mistake, it is '.com':

Had a look, yeah, you can pay monthly, but there is a one off $49.95 setup charge, something you don't get charged if you pay for it annually, plus it's $10.95 a month as opposed to $9.95.

I think that streamline.net is best, they have a package that im going to get in jan that is unlimited web space and bandwidth for £44.99 per 1 year or £67.98 per 2 years.

If thats not enough you get the chance to win an XBox 360 for no extra cost biggrin.gif lol

I've been using Dreamhost for a year or so. They have a lot of features but many times there panel has been down when I needed it. Fairly cheap though(you can get a coupon for ~$95 off, or no setup fee) so I guess it is fair.

I manage a dedi on 1&1, being on the end of the phone is always useful, but they tend to be quite pricey in comparison to other companies such as dreamhost.

They have a nice control panel though, combination of their own for setting domain entries etc and Plesk.

Ill just say this...... If your looking for a dedicated..... go with The Planet.... there basically the center of all. wink.gif
