Hi, my name is Scott Miller, and I am trying to start up a website that brings wii owners together to play online games such as super smash brawl and mario strikers charged.

The current wii system sucks, so i figured if I could somehow unite people together, that it would be a useful online resource for some.

Currently, I've installed a php based forum called Vanilla, I choose to use it because it is not only open source, but it seems to promote discussions versus the typical category based forums.

In order to provide authentication through this server, I need to be able to use SMTP so that users get an email when they have been accepted to the forums.

Because of this, I need the safe mode for my account to be turned OFF. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated

safe mode is on for a reason. many people will mess the host up. But in the next couple of weeks, the admins have said that they might be able to turn off safemode for users who pay... but for now safemode stays on
