Cigarettes and alcohol, couldn't care about this, not a drastic increase.
Higher tax for top polluting cars is a good idea, hopefully stop those idiots driving 4x4's who simply don't need one.
First time buyers of houses certainly do need help in todays inflated housing market, but I fail to see how this would make much of a difference.
"rules for housing and council tax benefit will mean families on benefit are better off in work." - I doubt this.
"There will be a capital fund of £12.5m to encourage more women entrepreneurs." - waste of money.
"Laws will be introduced by 2009 to tax plastic bags if shops do not do more to charge for their use." - good idea.
Its mostly blah blah blah.

i got a 4x4 >.> but i NEED it becuase i live on top of a mountain were some days u cant make it up the hill with out it =)

Yep, living in Montana (although this is a budget for a different country) I have a 4x4 because everything here is so isolated. You need bigger vehicles to get around (and not get stuck in the snow) - usually bigger automobile = bigger polluter = use more gas = more expensive to fill up.
