I am going to make a proper banner for my site, Glitches Exposed. I have a general idea of what I want to do. I just need some ideas for an image to use.

I don't want something too complex, but I don't want something that looks like crap or doesn't suit the topic of the site (which is glitches) either.

Originally I was going to use either one of these Space Invader pics and edit them with something to make them look like they just got pwned by a glitch. The images being:

http://www7.imagocentre.com/images/8/Invader_1_126.jpg and
http://www9.imagocentre.com/images/8/Invader_2_127.jpg (most likely this one as it's not as big as the first one).

I have one idea, I just can't explain all too well. So... sorry if that doesn't help at all.

However, I'm open to ideas if anyone has any and if you have any ideas with the above pics, that'd be good too. Also, one final question, what would a good font be to use that suits the style of the template/site's subject? I have honestly no bloody idea what font would be "glitch-like..."

Perfect. It'd also go good if I'm using a Space Invader's picture LOL. Thanks for that, appreciated.

As for the background, you could add an effect like when you turn on TV on a wave that doesn't have any channel on - you know, those white, gray and black chaotical dots all around the screen. Would fit the theme, imo. Yet make it not so very visible, otherwise people couldn't see the text and images that you put on top of it.
