hi im new smile.gif hello everyone

can someone tell me what this is? &lt;script src="http://www.hosting.zymic.com/fixstats.php"></script>

all of a sudden completely out of the blue all my files have that on the end of them?? ..ive ran it and it tells me my IP, wat browser im using wat operating system im using and loads of other weird stuff. why is it there? whats it for? can i have it dragged into a field somewhere and shot???

im currently developing a web application and although my website will be the main area for it with forums and stuff..my application needs to read certain files stored on my website and with this script now been added to the end of every file its driving my project bonkers because it no longer understands the information contained within the files it needs to read.

please tell me there is a way to turn this off..please please please huh.gif

thank guys smile.gif

Hi,

Its your site stats, visit your control panel and click stats ...

You may remove it however, just tell me your website address.

Thanks
The1Eagle
Hi,

Yeah I also have this script error as well. I have clicked the Stats link in the control panel but it tells me to register. I have no interest in stats so I dont want to really register for something I dont need or want to look at. I just want to remove this annoying script error from my web pages. How do I do this?

Thanks In Advance. smile.gif

Hello

I too am having issues with this; because it's placed after the </html> tag, it's making all my pages invalid. Any way to disable this would be appreciated.
wozzym
i believe i deleted the folder through ftp. but i could be wrong. but id suggest trying to delete the directory through your ftp client (if you have downloaded one). smile.gif
The1Eagle
wozzym,

Mate have tried to delete the Stats folder via ftp and get "Permission denied" so that doesn't work. sad.gif

This is the script which appears at the end of every page.

</html>
<script src="http://www.hosting.zymic.com/fixstats.php"></script>

I have looked everywhere and can't find the source of where it is being generated from and how to turn it off or remove it.

If any one could shed light on this subject as to how we can remove this script error, would greatly be apprehiated.

Thanks

Hi Jack,

I have just checked my web site at dcin.clanteam.com

Unfortunately mate, that fixstats error is still there on my web page and all my other web pages. I right clicked on my site's web page and went View Source and right at the bottom of the page this appears:

</html>
<script src="http://www.hosting.zymic.com/fixstats.php"></script>

Here is a screenie of it as well.

Now everything was running fine until the 30 March 2008 when suddenly this error came up, around the same time that "maxrpg" reported it.

For me though, this error is causing nothing but trouble. I host a Black Hawk Down game server which utilises Babstats Multi Tracker and Neos_Chronos to record a individual's game stats.

For this to work information is passed from my game server via BMT to Neos_Chronos which is a folder placed in my Zymic web site and displays an individuals game stats. Now because of this return information (echo return) it is picking up the line <script src="http://www.hosting.zymic.com/fixstats.php"></script> beneath the </html> and returning back to the game server and appears every 2 minutes in the game servers chat logs (Very Very Annoying!)

Could this please be removed as I have tried everything to remove it. The only course of action if an Admin can't fix it is to completely strip my entire web site back to nothing and reinstall everything all over again. This is something I do not want to do if I can help it. Surely this can't be the only way to fix this error!

Please refer to my servers chat log below. As you can see everything worked fine until [30/03/2008 4:20:26 PM] when the <script src="http://www.hosting.zymic.com/fixstats.php"></script> pops up.

Hello please can you help me remove them?
My website address are

ivan.99k.org
ivanlkc.zzl.org

And I do think that you can make a page on the control panel to let users automatically enable / disable such a script tag....
In my opinion these tags are annoying biggrin.gif
The1Eagle
To The Admin,

I have checked my web site and found this annoying <script src="http://www.hosting.zymic.com/fixstats.php"></script> has finally been removed.

A special thankyou for your assistance in resolving this issue.

A very happy customer

Thankyou Again

We have removed the script globally now, no sites should have the code until we find a proper fix.

Good Stuff, No more harrasment tongue.gif
Nah, I'm kidding. It should be a good feature when it is all updated and working properly.
skiter
Can you remove also from skiter.eu website wink.gif
Brendon Costa
I am experiencing this script tag being added after the closing html tag too on my new website: bcosta.uuuq.com Could I have this removed and then just re-add it manually into the page where it belongs?

Thanks,
Brendon.
