Hey, i just went to my site, and it gave me the 403 error... then i went to my file manager, and all my pages and stuff are gone....... luckily i have all my files stored on my computer too... but my forum was not saved on my computer, so everything of that got deleted... please provide an explanation for this.

Could your info have been hacked?

Don't place the blame on the admins. You might have made a mistake that you didn't realize, such as if you use a FTP program or such.

... 10 minutes before this happened, i asked the admin for some help with my domain adding... then this happened. and no where in my post does it say i blame the admin.

You didn't sound very friendly and the wording of your choice made it sound like you were blaming the admins/zymic.com for the issue. If that wasn't your intention, then I am sorry, but make sure that you use words effectively and make them so they can't be misconstrued to any extent when you are asking for assistance.

What were you having help with? What was being done?

the reason i dont sound friendly is because i have been working on this site for about 2 months straight... and its gone... and i was getting help with adding a custom domain to my account.

How were they helping you? What were they doing? Were they making changes or were they telling you how to make the changes?

You aren't supplying very much information other than, "its gone."

ok, i asked admin if they could fix my custom domain.
then, i refreshed my control panel
and then i checked my file manager
and EVERYTHING was gone... except my STATS folder

Did they reply to you at all? You still haven't answered if you were speaking to a person and how you were speaking to them.

I am trying to get all the facts straight because, someone who works with these systems daily (the admins) tend to not to delete peoples files "on accident"

So I am thinking you made some error yourself.

1. It doesn't appear that any changes were made by Bread o the other guy because he asked you to speak to the other guy.
2. He states that when he took a look, there weren't any associations with that domain, with either domain

And even if he did delete something by accident, your explanation of which one to delete isn't very clear, but he directed you to the programmer because this wasn't his specialty.

Nothing personal, but it sounds like you already didn't have any files there when you went to speak to the guys, so I think you might have pwned yourself.

Maybe so: But tuff luck if you did.. People make mistakes, But people then learn from them..
There is a great function on computers called FORMAT. See when you lose precious photos and videos of memories which you will never be able to retain, That's when you can start moaning. I very much doubt that Bread or any other Admin would delete any files without permission: They are very nice people and are not that ignorant.

.... i had all the files when i asked him. that is the entire convo, but i will consider the fact that i might have acidently deleted them somehow, even though i hadnt touched the files for 4 hours before that...

I have everything, absolutely everything backed up onto my computer, if I edit something via the control panel or if I edit it on my computer, I always have the main copy of it on my HD. Just in case something gets F'ed or I have to reinstall, I am able to via FTP.

And now that this has been solved for the time being, I am going to go get a beer and pick up some ugo from the bar. Tonight, I get to play grenade for my buddies and take out the nasty cock-blocking friend of the hot girls. LoL.

i have everything on my computer too... i only didnt have the forum backed up on my computer...

lol, yea, i acidently left an error on the registration, and it gave them 100,000 points.. and he went to town on killing people. but i aided each person 100 points, so that should help.. and hm... stupid pics..
