I'm REALLY new to php, and I need a free gaming league script. It's for an online game called Starcraft.

I need the script to be able to do the following:
1. players need to register to create an account for the league.
2. report game matches for multiple users
3. calculate score after the games are reported. (sorta like the ELO calculating system)
4. display ladder/ranks for the users.

Does anyone know where I can download one?

this might just be me but i think it would be useful to know the game programming. is it one you are creating?

no, it's made by Blizzard Entertainment, the same company that made World of Warcraft, Warcraft3 and Diablo games. It's a very wellknown oldschool online game made in 1997.

and a very cool game at that.

I don't see how anyone can not know what starcraft is. They even had it for the nintendo 64!!

Have you tried searching google? I don't believe anywhere like P2L or tutorial websites would give tutorials on stuff like that. I remember seeing a downloadable template a couple of years ago that you could tie into StarCraft but I can promise you I won't be able to find it again. Just give google a few searches and you will find something on it.

On a side note, I didn't know they had a StarCraft for N64? Are you thinking of StarFox?

I don't ask for help on forums unless I'm desperate. my forum questions are my last resort for help, meaning I've done hours of search on google and yahoo already.

and yes, starcraft was on N64. it was crap tho. bad graphics.

The graphics for the n64 were -almost- as good as the starcraft graphics for the compy, tongue.gif

And you could play with more than one person on the console without being online - nice party game if you wanted to stay up all night. That and super smash brothers and mario party
