We have some news about bug fixes and new features

PHPMyAdmin Issues - We have found a solution to the slowness being reported when trying to use PHPMyAdmin. We will be uploading a new script, similar to PHPMyAdmin which will run a LOT faster, and contain all the features you need for database management, including: import/export, edit or create queries, etc. This will be up and running in 2 days. Unfortunately there was not a fix specific for PHPMyAdmin because it simply can't handle the amount of databases we have, but we assure you this new script will work just the same.

Custom Domains - We allow you to use your own custom.com domain name and apply it to your account with us. This feature worked for some users, but for most this has never properly worked. We have been working on this issue, and its now fixed, HOWEVER users who have tried to add a domain in the past still can't seem to apply one to their account due to the "This domain is currently in use" error. We will work out a solution for existing members.

FREE Email - This is a very exciting feature, we will be offering free email for your website, for example name@site.zzl.org for subdomains or name@custom.com for custom domain users. I'm not going to go into much detail, but this will be launched within 1-2 weeks.

Diskspace Upgrade - We are going to be upgrading the amount of web space per account. At the moment the limit is 2GB with 25MB file limit, however we will be increasing the 2GB limit very soon. We won't be upgrading the 25MB file limit, as this is more than generous and most free hosts don't allow anything above 10MB.

Free Domain - Originally we bought you a free custom .com domain name if your website complied to our specific rules, however many people applied when their website wasn't even developed. Within 1 week we will offer you a free domain name based on your forum post count.

Stats - The statistical page in your hosting control panel has never been completely finished. We originally offered AWStats, but this was too resource intensive, and so we then outsourced to CountAll.com and preinstalled their javascript code into your web pages. Users then kept complaining that this was messing up their page validation and custom code, and so we have removed it. The stats page will now contain some reviews of statistic web service sites, so you can signup with ease if you wish.

Revenue Page - We will be adding a page to the hosting control panel which will help guide you on how to make money with your website.

By the way, I'm new here. I signed up here because I was originally hosted with Godaddy, but was no longer able to afford the payments. I needed a free host temporarily until I am able to once again pay for hosting. I came across your host while performing a google search for free hosting.

Once I signed up I was having massive problems with navigating through PHPmyadmin, with it constantly timing out and was unable to upload my database backup, so I've been unable to access my forum.

It nice to hear the issue is being resolved, I tried using phpminiadmin but it didn't work for me and I was still unable to upload my database.

By the way, how long until the new script is uploaded and active?

How long until PHPMyAdmin is fixed or replaced with another more efficient script?

We haven't heard anything since yesterday morning/afternoon so we are wondering how it's coming along and when we'll be able to manage our databases. I've already tried PhpMiniAdmin and other MySQL/Database management scripts however none of them work and still times out when attempting to navigate to my database/tables.

There seems to be no further reply from the administrators or staffs side yet, and it's been two days now.

How's the new script coming along? I thought it would of been uploaded by now.

I promised my existing members on my website that have been with me since I was on paid hosting that I'd have my forum back up in a few days. It has already exceeded the few days I promised them.

I already have all my website files uploaded here so I'd hate to have to look for another free host so I can get my website back up and running again. Not to mention I am having a difficult time finding a free host without outrageous restrictions or work properly. Quotaless has the same PHPMyadmin problem and so don't a few others. All the other hosts PHP safemode restrictions are so intense it doesn't allow you to upload a forum mod properly.

So I came to this host as a last resort for a temporary solution to getting my website back online until I'm able to go paid again, but lo and behold:

PHPmyadmin isn't working, all I get are page timeouts, slow loading etc.... so I am unable to upload my database.

Note: I am not upset or flaming, just a little impatient and hope this is resolved soon so I can get my board back up and running soon.

Really glad to see everything is getting fixed and you're even giving us more! This is just too awesome Jack.

I wonder if this new MiniAdmin supports chars sets of different languages.
So far from the database, I've seen everything in unrecognizable, scrambled codes, such as question marks.
When I tried to export the cdb_posts part, and then import it back to phpMyAdmin program, they would not transfer.
Our domain is pchomers.com, and the char. we use is BIG5. Perhaps you should take a look, because maybe it needs to be handled differently.

So far the site is down, and because the space on your end is full (there is a common.php, line 393 error message at zcp), I am not able to refresh my cache files because when they are at 0 bytes, the program can't read them.
I need to upload some old version of cache files to replace the 0 bytes ones in order to bring the site up, first, then refresh the cache.

phpmyadmin is a mess right now. I can't do anything in it. I hope this fix is coming soon.

Even some of the tables in my SQL database are not being saved properly. It's worse than I thought.

think its great makeing it that way xD. stupid wasting domains on websites that arent running.

Is about Blank Page or White page when user surf there website(which hosted by Zymic), and this is a big problem.
Please take a seriously on this problem, fix it as fast as possible or give us a status on it.
