Thanks it works but how its set up is to send a email as well it will register users now but i get a error for the email part

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The mail() command is not allowed. in /www/zzl.org/s/i/m/sims2addiction/htdocs/register.php on line 61

anything i can do about it?
Andrew
Sorry no, the mail function has been disabled for security reasons, and currently there is no way to turn it on.

oh kk thanks good to know when i think of it thats good that its disabled i think im just going to try and take the mailing part out of the code since it will register people but that error comes up if i take it out i should just register people am i right? (im new to php)
Andrew
Well it depends, the code could be very complex and there could be multiple parts referring to the mailing function which could end up messing your script up. If you do delete anything just keep a backup.

Also some scripts if they come with an admin panel (like a forum script) they normally have the option to turn the email feature off and just register the user without emailing them first,

there will be a feature to turn the mail function on here soon (i think for a small fee)
