okay so i was using a different content manager when i first posted this topic.


im using CuteNews now...well wanting to use it.


it sayd i have to upload all the contents. so i did.


but it also says 'CHMOD the the directory cutenews/data/ and all files and folders under the data/ directory must be also chmod'ed to 777'


i dont know what that means or how to do it.


please help. thanks. smile.gif

It depends on which FTP client you use but normally you can right click on the file you want to "chmod" and either click on Permissions, or Properties.

And then you should see a box similar to this:

On that box you can change the permissions.
