I have started work designing the new hosting control panel. The main change will be the design, which will include a liquid (100% width) layout, a different design style to our main site and more user friendly features.

I'm going to keep the full list of features hidden until release HOWEVER if you would like to share a feature idea with us, please contact us or post here.

FYI the list of features which our current control panel doesn't have include (this is NOT the full list):
- Extract zip files using web based file manager.
- Auto install of popular web scripts.
- WYSIWYG HTML editor.
- FTP tutorial (not a link to our forum).
- Working custom domain (but this will be fixed on our current control panel very soon).
- Buy a domain name.
- Free email address (you@site.com or you@site.subdomain.com).
- Web server information (Status of HTTP, FTP, MYSQL illustrated by green/red "lights", path to website, server IP / name, nameservers ..) shown on all pages of the control panel.
- Possible auto email when a service goes down.
- Support section including link to forum (like current but with highlighted sticky topics), live chat embedded on index page (shown by javascript hide/show).
- Revenue section (tips on how to make money with your website).

No ETA as of yet, but design is nearly done in Photoshop.

Features sound very good, but my bigest expectation is working of personal domains,

as I have added my domain on zymic, it contains php pages, but when ever i try to access it, page is redirected to "http://www.zymic.com/free-web-hosting/" it works only on soime browsers some times.

I will switch my hosting back here if those features come through! get them here quick! good work

WYSIWYG HTML editor will be a nice idea,
but please allow the user to be able to choose whether to activate that or not.

I suggest this because I have experience with some other hosting service which force the users to use their built-in WYSIWYG HTML editor, causing problems like slow editor loading speed, problem with editing Java script, problem with the forced auto XHTML correction corrupting PHP files, etc.

I love the Zymic's current editor version for loading fast and not trying to auto-correct anything I wrote.
So I hope the new version will still allow users disable the WYSIWYG function if they like.

are the servers affected at all? At this time, I can't seem to connect.

Dreamweaver could not connect because the server is down or not accepting connections.

WYSIWG HTML Editor is smart.

The ftp issue seems to be fixed now. I can get on using filezilla, however I can't sign in through the zymic website. It goes to the screen saying I've been logged on and then it redirects me back. Help anyone? thanks.
